He did have one once, teaching tennis to Cheltenham Ladies College, he was a tennis pro, but then felt the urge to cycle from Bangkok to Gloucester as you do!
New URL page for his tracker as the unreliable Canadian one just isn't up to scratch and now switched to UK

He doesnt appear to be the typical 26 yr old as evident from this extract in a column of his from the Independent
I’m not the fittest man in the world. I’m certainly no athlete. But what I have learned about myself is that I have a mental toughness I didn’t know I had and, having been told I’ve inspired others after raising more than £20,000, I realise it would be a waste to do anything other than continue raising money through experiencing adventure and tackling adversity.

I know a couple of you grumpy gits don't like this thread being raised to top of the queue, but tough!
So Jamie has now just crossed into Manitoba - so anyone in Winnipeg, Brandon, stand by - consider giving him a wave, some support or a couple of bucks.
Jamie, from this point on, is going to give the money raised in each province to that province, ie, to the "local" kids hospital for that area....

Spoke to him on Friday night and he was practically done in poor thing! What with his foot it was just killing him. Last week he was running over a marathon a day just to get over the border in time for Winnipeg. Loads of media so hopefully this has given him the surge he needed to get to the next big City.
Just never ceases to amaze me.

Left Winnipeg yesterday.
60 marathons to go in 60 days. £30,000 raised so far.
It's gonna be tight. Especially with an injured foot, and those damn hilly Rockies in the way.
FL - chat to your collegues in BC and sort out an extension to his visitor visa please.

At least the next 900 kms or so is flat so no hills to negotiate

Coming into Calgary this week....$70,000 raised...he sounds like he is beyond exhausted, but still carries on.
He won't reach his goal of Vancouver by Christmas but he won't be far off that.
Bumped again for anyone who can offer support, a car to sit and warm up in, hot food, a bed or cold hard cash....from Calgary to Vancouver. Not far to go really!
