Calgary ring road
 

So yesterday I went through the "uneven road surface" on the off-ramp from the ring road EB to 52nd St SE for about, I dunno, however many times it has been and hit that ----ing ditch again.

This time I remembered to call the MoT who had literally no idea what I was talking about. Bear in mind there is a big orange sign there.

There are also two similar ditches on the on-ramp WB. Also two orange signs there too.

I also happened to ask when the work on the SE ring road would be finished, pointing out that it opened in November 2013. "Well, open and finished are two different things, we're still working our way through the list and seeing if there are any further problems to address."

So basically... it could go on FOREVER.

My advice is that if you see anything looking forgotten on the ring road (and I mean the whole thing, not just the SE section) call Alberta Transport at: 403 297 6311.

They're not going to realize it themselves. It looks as though the contractor just left orange construction signs in various places and the MoT have no idea where they are.
