Now we have more time on our hands and together with the kids, we want to learn to cook some favourites like , Chick n Mush pie, Mushy peas, Parsley sauce etc etc ... plz feel free to post other recipes.

Did you search the forums for a thread? There is an ongoing thread in the Lounge about British foods and there are many recipes included. You might want to check it out.

Look at youtube/ french cooking academy/ chicken and mushroom pie. They are gorgeous. I also added some of my home made bread sauce.
For mushy peas as from a chippy you need dried marrowfat peas which could be a problem to find.
Yorkshires are easy, google award winning yorkshire pudding.

I think we all have that hankering for something British that either we can't get here or is just not quite the same.
Buy an Actifry. Makes great roast potatoes and very good chips. For fish, this is a good starter.

Easy to mix and doesn't need deep frying. I've made the best battered fish (or sausage) I've had in almost two decades.

Yorkshire pudding - look for the Club House mix (they sell it in most grocery stores - and in Walmart).. or follow Delia's recipe https://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/...-pudding-for-6 - keep in mind that sea level of where you are located can make a difference

Marrowfat peas (mush peas) are available in tins (batchelors) at various stores, including bulkbarn - they also sometimes sell them dried
Parsley sauce is easy - make a basic white sauce with butter, flour and milk (or milk water combination) either on the stove or make it in the microwave (nice and quick) , put all the ingrediants in a bowl, whisk every 30 seconds cook until bubbling and thick... then add chopped parsley and season to taste. You can make cheese sauce the same way, using a nice strong cheddar cheese, grated, instead of parsley. If you fancy cod in parsley butter sauce Walmart sell one. https://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/...-parsley-sauce
when making savoury pies, condensed soup makes a good 'sauce' and pre-made pie crusts make life a lot easier

Nigella's Yorkshire recipe is nearest to my mum's and therefore the best.
Anything else just look up Delia's recipes.
