Anyone do anything for Bonfire Night or has cultural assimilation and local by-laws long since snuffed out this tradition?

Re: Bonfire Night
Nothing in Calgary? I've been here a few years but haven't heard or seen of anything. It's a shame.

Lovely here too, bylaw says no personal fireworks. DD really misses Guy Fawkes Night. Have said if it's mild like this next year we might do something out at the lake. No such bylaw there it seems. Lest they forget, 1812. :frown: |
Re: Bonfire Night
Due to flight cancellations I am going to miss my own fireworks party. Which sucks the big one.:(
