Re: Blue Mountain
She applied to Guelph for upgrading but didn't get a reply. I think she is still planning on going in a couple if years.

Re: Blue Mountain
We have been to BM once and that was during the summer. It is very much like a mini Whistler. I asked my daughter about things to do...
Scandianve - Scandinavian bath
Caves
Walking trails
Pond
Zip lining
Year round toboggan
She stayed at the Western Hotel. They have a spa. There are lots of restaurants/bars and small shops. She likes to go up there for a few days to relax.

Re: Blue Mountain
Thank you all so much for your replies. DD is incredibly stressed, I haven't seen her since last August. DD and partner have given notice on their apartment, they are moving to Guelph (he works at nestle water), she is starting school at Sheridan (i think, in Brampton), she will be travelling by bus and will have to find a new job or two too, so I want to give her a bit of fun. I do wish we had saved more for here education so she didn't have to stress so much. Not sure I'm completely understanding why and where they want to move but it must make sense to them.
He might want to keep quiet about working at Nestle - not the most popular company in the Guelph area. It's a lovely place though, they will enjoy living there, it's more relaxed than the GTA. My son went to some event at Blue Mountain a couple of years ago - country and western music I think it was but it might have been jazz. He had a really good time and it sounds like a great place for a relaxing couple of days.
