Yes, sadly. And back in the UK Theresa May is doing her best to remove privacy.

Thank God (the Christian one, of course) for Harper. Without him protecting us we would all be speaking Arabic by now.

Otherwise the only answer is that Apple are spying on my every move somehow and selling the information on to business.

I do wonder how the heck my iPad knows what I've got up to sometimes. We went for a boat test on Saturday... And all of a sudden, I have boat insurance cookies. I swear that I haven't been looking, that's "his" job. If he looks at it on his iPad on our internet, would it make it appear on mine? They're not linked.

I put a piece of black electric tape over my webcam, I never use it, and while I doubt anyone is interested in my computer, never know, so if its not being used, why not cover it.
I know the cops can possibly find you by phone, had that happen once when someone thought I was going to end my life, they called Abby police, who then used my phone to see I was in Langley and then had the RCMP come find me and make sure I was okay. Nobody knew I was in Langley, so the phone is the only reasonable explanation.
Creepy if its that's easy to do.

Typical bull**** response to anyone who wants their privacy respected. Unfettered trust in Governments (who are made up of people) including your webcams, emails, telephone calls - what a joke.
