Best Canadian Beans

Ok we can find the other brands and the other flavours but can't find these.

I've never seen them before, as far as I'm aware. Have you tried contacting the company to see what grocery stores carry them where you are? Usually companies are happy to provide this info.

I have had these Beans are your right they are the best ones you can get in Canada. My local corner store used to sell them a couple of years ago and then they stopped for some reason. I'd like to know where you can get them too.:)

you can get them in peterborough ON which is no use to you at all, sorry to say. The shop they are sold isnt one of the chains either so maybe if you have some individually owned shops they may stock them. Maybe contact the manufacturers?

They taste ok too, half way between UK beans and Canadian beans.

Tried them - North west stores aka Giant Tiger are only stockist in Manitoba. and the haven't had a can in 7 months.

so any chained store that stocks them would be helpful.

Sorry, never seen them.

The best baked beans (i.e not too sweet) we've discovered since we've been here are, believe it or not , Canadian superstore No Name Beans. They have a yellow and green label. They're the closest we've found to UK style.

A Quebec company doesn't use Atlantic for its water supply

Same for us. We have some stores that supply British Heinz baked beans but you will be paying $2.50 per tin. But Canadian superstore No Name Beans seem to be close to UK style Heinz.

I actually emailed UK Heinz to plead for them to send over a ship load. But it turns out each country has it's own Heinz and they have their own recipes not used by other Heinz??? I asked them to licence UK style to Heinz Canada but they decided I must be a nutter and ignored my emails.

Here is the info on the website:

Where can I buy Cordon Bleu products?
Ouimet-Cordon Bleu Foods Inc. distributes in all of the major retail chains in Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, and Western Canada. For specific information on your area, please contact our consumer service department at 1-800-684-6554 / [email protected].

We use Atlantic Superstore no name beans. Tastes like Heinz.....reheated!
