We've just got round to replacing the cooker that came with the house when we bought it. We thought it looked old fashioned when we moved in, and then we found out that the previous-previous owners had bought it at least 10 years before they moved out, and the last owners lived here for 5 years, so it was at least 15 years old when we moved in, and ~20 when it was replaced (still working - just about...) |

My first one was all gas and kept filling the house with smoke, that was replaced with this one. Apparently GE make the best gas cookers, so the rest must be really crap:eek: Wish I had taken out the extended warranty now.
OH thinks it might be the element, just need to see if the control panel has blown up too. |
