Default The backward criminal justice system

I find some of the recent horsesh*t quite ridiculous...

Canada, the country that lets off drug smugglers with 27500 Fentanyl because the drug dog didn't sit down properly.

Canada, the country that lets off big-time money launderers because somebody was on the take the RCMP did something ever so minutely wrong.

Canada, the country that lets off murderers because judges are too lazy to work a 40 hour week like the rest of us.

Canada, the country that's forward at being backward.

etc...

Stomps off to watch Police Interceptors on 5, for some proper policing!

Those are the cases that make the news because they are so notable because of their failure. You don’t hear about the majority of cases that go smoothly. It’s just selection bias, though I agree it’s unfortunate when the system fails like in these cases.

Yeah you write the law, someone busts how it was supposed to work, or you get these new world situations of what to do with people who openly go off to fight for Isis then want to come back when they lose.
