Anyone familiar with VCC downtown campus?
Parking to be specific. Their website is a bit vague and just has a map but little information on parking.
I'll be there on Tues evenings and trying to locate the most cost effective place to park.
Transit isn't an option due to how far away it is from home.

Probably one of those parking lots that do reduced rate after 6:00pm. Don't use parking meters on the street. They're terribly expensive downtown.

Between tolls and parking this class is going to cost a small fortune....

Check out a lot that's near the campus beforehand and have a back up one in case its full. Make your compute as relaxed and stress free as you can so you can concentrate on your class. Then treat yourself to big naff off meal before you drive home.

Why not use Skytrain? Park at Scott Road, or King George avoids the tolls and expensive parking.

Not even sure driving is feasible, on paper it is, but traffic is not predictable on Hwy 1 so hard to know for sure.
Next week I am going to test both ways to see how it goes.

If you google "VCC downtown campus parking", there are 2 or 3 links for that.
Including mention of 2 public parkades. and the VCC Parkade which is open to the public after 6 pm
We used to park in the EasyPark parkade across the street years ago, but stopped after we went back to our friend's car to find the window smashed and his "parking money" stolen.
Have no idea how safe it is now ................ it's not in the best area of town!

VCC downtown, do you mean the one in East Van across the road from VCC sky train station?

The east Vancouver by the sky train there is the Broadway campus.
Unfortunately the class I am taking is not offered there.
Downtown campus is right downtown on W Sender somewhere.
I've cancelled the Tuesday class as it's not feasible in the time I would have but kept the Sat one.
