We are moving over as soon as we sell the house, all visas are in place we just need a buyer!!
We thought we knew where we were settling but have changed our minds lol
We have fallen in love with Cobourg, we have visited and really loved the place now we would just like to know if anyone has settled there and if they like it or not x

We are torn between Burlington and Cobourg. I think it will be Burlington as a first stop as we think there might be more job opprtunities, but would seriously think about Cobourg, it's a lovely family orientated place.

If and when we ever get a visa cobourg is where we plan to head. On a recci trip last year it stood out to us as a very family orientated place. If you settle there, keep in touch, I'd love to know how you get on.

thanks guys, We loved it, but we never visited burlington whats that like lol.

We will be moving to Cobourg in 2 weeks and can't wait!
Really nice area with good schools.
When are you hoping to be out here? We moved to Canada nearly three years ago now and still havent really settled but I am hoping that will all change soon.
Currently living in the middle of nowhere, with no neighbours and two break-ins under our belt!

I'm sorry to hear you haven't settle yet I hope for you all that this will be the right place for you. We hope to move over before the summer ends as we really wanted the boys to start school at the begining of term, although thats looking unlikely as the house hasen't sold yet! we have a viewing today however so i'm keeping my fingers toes and eyes crossed lol.
Good luck with your move and i'll pm you if we sell and let you know, it would be nice to know people over there it seems quite a few of us have moved to the area and like it so fingers crossed xx
