Yes they were and i think they only made one album "Ghosts of princes in Towers" which i still play alot today. Saw most of the punk era bands in and around the west country Chelt Town Hall, Malvern Winter gardens, Bristol locarno etc back then i had the hots for Poly Styrene (Xray Specs). a good day out back then was drive to Bristol spend afternoon at the Beer Keller then have a curry and on to a concert at the Locarno or Colston Hall, sleep in the car drive home the next day. And who says the 80s were a bad decade for music.

I'm living in Cheltenham. Moved from Bristol in July. We're you into the Oi! bands? The Crack were a good band from Cheltenham.

No not really into the Oi scene. I was basically a left over from the 60s-70s rock era but i really liked the raw aggression of some of the more "rockier" punk/new wave bands. the only band i remember from Chelt was "The Index" who opened up for all the headliners at the Town Hall,
