Still got 10,500 miles left.

Are you including the 7000 miles I gave back when I declined the spice rack?

This is Jings'll Fix It... I decide if you've declined the spice rack or not.

If you see a Tom Selleck lookalike kerbcrawiling around St Johns with a small parcel in his hand, you'll know I've engaged magnumpi to track you down and make sure the spice rack takes pride of place in your kitchen.

Or I might just give it to you in the pub. Perhaps I could use the remaining balance to pay for the beers, too.

"Two pints of your finest Wherry, my dear."
"Six pounds and forty pence, please."
"Here's my card."
"Ah, Aeroplan... that'll do nicely."

Well quite. In the spirit of joining in, I threw a bit extra in the sponsorship pot for the local LIght the Night walk (in aid of leukemia research) which my OH is walking in memory of her mother. I didn't take a picture, though, so you'll have to take my word for it. As I'm an unutterable cad and probably a bounder to boot, that word's not worth much, but this is the Internet, so whaddya gonna do?

Hi
As you said you had a cool 10,500 miles left I could do with this...

If you feel the need to buy said comedy spice rack, have it delivered to the wilds of Fort Mac & bring it with back to the UK to hand to me in the pub then who am I to stop you?;) Although perhaps you could make better use of the 7k aeropeso's elsewhere. If you are determined to buy me something then can I switch the spice rack for this https://www4.aeroplan.com/mrch/home-...odCC04531.html because we have need for a new frying pan but less need for a plastic rotating spice rack. Which was kind of the ironic point in asking for it in the first place.

It's a shame that Aeroplan points can't be used to purchase Woodforde's Wherry. But then if they could, you wouldn't be giving them away would you?!

Hello Jackandvictor, I don't think we've conversed before?

The food here is full of crap and sugar!sugar!sugar! so take it easy and watch the lbs fly off with the Jingsomatic Whale-O-Meter which will be on its way as soon as you PM me your address. ;)

Sorry AX, the Aeroplan points bag is now empty, so I shall have to console you with beer. The good news is that at least you know that Mrs AX won't be able whack you with a frying pan when you roll in in a right state...

No, this time is a lot more voluntary than last time. ;) My work here is done. (I've always wanted to say that!)

The project I've been working on is just about complete and it's time to go home. I've been here 7 years on a TWP which is about 5 years longer than I originally envisaged. Definitely time for a change. No firm plans on the next move, I shall just wait and see. I will not miss the oilsands or camp life one little bit.

I thought being camp was a hanging offence out there;)

Well that's the last goodies ordered for Jackandvictor. My Aeropesos account is now empty which I am really pleased about - I'd have just forgotten about them and they'd have expired unused.

Hope you all enjoy your goodies, and remember to say "thank you" to the oilsands which made it all possible. :D

While I am sure most of the BE members will thank Jings for his very generous gesture the cynical side of me will point out that he is a Scot and the air miles were free so its not like he was opening up his own wallet to buy the next round  Trust him to post when several of us were at work and could not get in on the action.
Im sure we all wish him the best in his next endeavour wherever that takes him and 7 years in the oilsands Im sure has put a few extra dollars in the bank account;)

Well done for managing to piss all over a bit of harmless fun. Have you ever considered becoming a policeman or a customs officer?

Its not harmless fun when I missed out on the Panasonic Premium Design phone @ 1400 miles or the Callaway Odyssey White Hot Pro putter @2000 miles or the Nambe Cheese block with knife and spreader @1200 miles

I'm still here till the end of the month, at which point I will go home. On an aeroplane. Which will earn me about 8,000 miles. Which I don't need.

Oh, if only I could think of something to do with those miles... Something that a cynic wouldn't find reason to complain about...

;)

If you don't immediately step away from the computer and attend to your wife's needs, you will be concerned... She's about one step away from giving us all a webcam show with her new toy.

Be careful of the mini USB recharging point. I had two go wonky so finally switched to Bose. Apart from the recharging weakness they're nice bits of kit.

Jings, where are you heading to? Are you going to put in a PR app just you have the choice in future? And sheesh, 7 years? Bet you have enough to retire on and God, you must have had a helluva lot of patience to stick at it. What position did you do?

Happy travels, 'fella :) and hope you still hang around here!

I got the impression from one of your posts on another thread that your parents didn't know about BE. Hence the curiosity about what you said.
