Addicited to Tim Hortons - Miss my timmies

Well,

I am an ex-Canadian (also ex-UK), now living in Australia.

I miss my timmies every day. Over here, they are into the cappo and flat white coffee (bloody expensive I might add).

Just wondering how long it took most of you to become addicited to Tim Hortons or maybe you don't like Tim Hortons.

I lived in Canada for almost 27 years and grabbing a Timmies on my way to work was a part of my everyday routine.

Just wondering what others thought about Tim Hortons.

Cheers

Karen

Well, you did ask. I think Tim Hortons ought to be the target of the first spectacular act of outrage perpetrated by the yet to be formed League of Sane People.

I have extensive experience of the place, based on a single, defining, visit.

It is an insult to humanity, and should be purged from the planet, toute suite.

Have you ever actually tasted real coffee?

Indeed I have. It doesn't come in a plasticized paper cup, nor does it contain remnants of honey-mustard-dressing or of dead cows.

Maybe you could kid nap Ron Joyce and write ransom demands to the CBC?

My husband made me a Nescafe in a real cup, does that count?

I had to google him. It appears he was born in Tatamagouche. Where you can swim in the sea in December.

I'm afraid you have to decide for yourself. But, no really.

I don't drink coffee but I do miss their muffins, timbits and donuts. Probably for the best that they don't have them here in Oz!

If you're really desperate there are online shops that sell Canadian food in Australia (they usually have Tim Hortons coffee). Here's one link although if you do a search you'll find a few others.

It's usually all too sugary for me ..... the only time I genuinely look foward to a cappuccino and Timbits is on the way home from Banff after skiing all day - then I really need that sugar fix! :p:thumbup:
