I'm allergic to avocado which really pees me off cos I love it - the only thing as well - I can eat dairy, wheat etc till the cows come home - but even a tiny taster of an avocado and I puff up like a balloon. :(

More and more farmers here are producing close to organic meat as a matter of course now - the big beef farms are starting to get smaller with lots just starting to run a few cows on untouched pasture with just essential vaccinations - no other nasties. As they say out here - "it's all good" :D

hi Ladymoose~

i am sorry to hear that you are allergic to avocado....:(

where i am the organics produce is cheap..sometimes i get apples cheaper than the regular kind. my son is becoming more aware too.~.teach them young and hopefully they will adopt that kind of attitude when old enough to make their own mind up. wouldn't it be wonderful to have organic supermarkets..and super enviro freindly packaging..oh yeah i live in the ideal world.

In australia i lived in an area where there were no mcdonalds.kfc.etc..by choice of the people...they protested and voted them to stay out. they dont 'have plastic bags in the supermarkets...but the downer side is..organic produce and health foods are soooo expensive...but i s'pose some move towards postive change is better then none.

i have a friend in Alberta..when i look at your avatar it reminds me of her.she is a horse person too.....:)
