I will be going to canada black and blue as all I do is walk in to boxes,did some family good byes and ended up looking like a panda.Im really dreading saying good bye to my mom this weekend as on monday we have the shippers coming.I decided to get my hair done here as reading posts about hairdressers in canada frightend the hell out of me,hell they are not much better here I got soaked right down to my knickers as the silly woman was yak yak yaking and not looking at what she was doing and it was chucking it down outside she even sent me out soaking dripping from my head to my arse.what do I make of my spanking new hairstyle? well short of sticking my head out the plane at 1000 miles an hour for a instant face lift wouldnt sort:rofl:I called the DHSS to cancel my sons allowances and when they asked for a contact number I told them we dont have a land line as we have been cut off so we can pay our bills all I got was what your paying your bills are you mad:blink:I guess we must be the only nutters who pay bills when leaving Glasgow.but I look on the bright side and think 5 days to go and we will be in Lloydminster where if my silly mutt runs off we will still be able to see her from miles away.well thats my gossip for another wee while cos I have to wait until we can get on to wireless to see how everyone is doing and being friday Im in the bar tonight:thumbsup:

So 4 days to go how you coping, funny being a while till we can go all being well, you can't imagine what its actually like in those last few days before you go saying all those goodbyes and leaving your home etc must be so many doubts and yet so exciting so how are you feeling today ?

funny I thought I would be going about like a headless chicken but no,I think with all the messing about we got from the buyers has made us so glad to be leaving here.the only thing I found hard was saying good bye to my wee mom today we did good bye's with freinds last week and some family and last night the last of the family came to see us.so Im still calm about it all so far mabe when the the shipping turn up on monday to start the packing it will hit home then I dont know,or mabe there is something wrong with me:eek:

There's nothing wrong with you Kate, we took it all in our stride to. Mal left a week earlier than me so we did the goodbyes before he left except the kids and my mother. They are all so used to use going off on holidays a few times a year and travelling for work I think they just thought "they're off again"

Ours were happy goodbyes! But we did not sell our house so that may make it seem not so permanent to those left behind.
