Marriage Story was really good.

A very slight generalisation there... I think. All conservatives and all liberals don't fall into any particular stereotype, it depends on the individuals culture, not their political persuasion, for example I find North American conservatism different to British conservatism both right ring but the back ground and culture of these people is different.

But your right that conservatives do like their old school traditional values... I don't see anything wrong with that at all, as long as they evolve too, because as you say life does move on, however I have to admit that certain things do irritate me... its usually something that doesn't make any sense, such as the phrase "pregnant people" what?? it makes zero sense... no one can deny that, so why even say it? Even Trudeau's "peoplekind" made more sense than that! But considering the way of the world now....I am just likely just to roll my eyes, rather than get bent out of shape about it.

exactly!!! I am a new democrat so I am educated and i read them books. like the users guide for my new cell phone? like, i read it several times, but u have 2b like a thatcherite to speak their hateful language? read my dad's chequebook once and laught cause it was like so pathetic? that he wasted money? on booshwah shit like electric bills? and food? screw him!

anywho watched an educational movie on tiktok the other day. it was about whats it? you know, amazon and tesla and all other slave-owners in corporate capitalism. word capitalism comes from the latin, or maybe greek, word "rape" because they rape the women before they burn them to death. they don't rape the men because they're homophobic? they know about real worker liberation. the liberals talk too much, but the communists act! there has never been a minimum-wage problem in a communist country or in britain before cannibal thatcher. in cuba, everyone works at whatever they want to do and they don't care how much they make because they're happy! they have a rich culture (source: guardian) and really good health care (source: morning star).

I acquired a new cell phone yesterday. It didn't come with a user guide. I've got the old one too (as JCC would phrase it), that didn't come with a user guide either. They're either iOS or Android so they don't need a manual, everyone already knows how they work.

Are you, perhaps, thinking of a new wireless set? They came with printed manuals.

You sound like a conservative who does not even know how to find a book. https://www.central-manuals.com/user...oogle_vignette

No Time to Die was better than I expected. The only scene I missed was Bond in a casino and meeting his adversary.

If I said there was a film that involved Bruce Willis and an accepting attitude toward Tourette's Syndrome, you might run a mile. If I said the film exhibited a progressive attitude to race relations ill fitted to the time in which it is set, you might roll your eyebrows. Accept the incongruities, Motherless Brooklyn is a fine noir.

Had planned to. However Cinemas closed as of today as Newfoundland enters stage 3 of Covid measures. Will do whenever we come out again.

Accurate satire, and great cast, but it didn't work at all for me. Apart from maybe the last ten minutes, that was good.

Watching it right now. Not a laugh out loud but I'm smiling.

Yes indeedy. I did giggle, it took me a while to get into it as I wasn't really sure what I was watching to start with but once it clicked, well it's good. Very good.
