I suppose i'll be wanting the Penguins, reasons being 2 fold - 1) Routing for Iggy 2) Never could stand that floundering oaf Crosby so at least he won't be on the ice.

You've really got it the wrong way round. If you have the misfortune of making some cradles as friends, you have to get them to like football, more importantly, your team, that way you can go round their house of a Saturday morning and drink their beer.

I think that’s a little gauche even for me. I think they’re better off for watching football though, just don’t try and get them to appreciate cricket, it has too many variables and permutations for them to understand it properly. Anyway, I feel it’s a duty to make a few cultural improvements while I’m here. Sort of like we did in southern Spain in the mid 1970s.
