Lets give the lad a break. If you spent years waiting to emigrate and thousands of pounds only to end up in Keswick ON, you might be a little resentful as well.

So, just to clarify then, a thread about people, who may be classed as celebrities dying can be classed as witty or humorous. If I make a reference to 'celebrities' who I wish to put on my list and then answer responses from other posters, that could be taken as bitter and angry and I'm insulting people passively/aggressively. And I must never deviate from the original topic on a thread.
Right, I think I've got all that, thanks ever so much for your help. I'll make sure to point that out to any posters who do any of those in the future or write things calling people bastards or wishing they die, cheers.

You're right. He's probably drunk as well as angry and bitter so it would be unkind to provoke him unnecessarily.

Perhaps for the benefit of How long, I should be clearer. He is on my ignore list, this means I can't read his posts (unless someone quotes him).
BTW, I've no idea why he appears to be angry with me. I honestly can't remember ever even reading one of his posts before. Of course I can't swear to that, but I'm too uninterested to check.
There's probably a doctor in Keswick if it's just that he's low on his meds.
