Default 2 Weeks Inside a Bear

http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-26837085

I am the only one who doesn't understand modern 'art' and this kind of 'artistic' performance. It kind of has David "look at me I'm sitting in a glass box, give me attention" Blaine written all over it.

Do people actually appreciate this kind of stuff?

What's the point? Ridiculous! ..... Blaine stood on a pole for 30 hours near my office when I worked in New York, what a jerk. I have no idea who cares.

If I were to suddenly announce tomorrow that I was to do something stupid like lay in a bear, stand on a pole/in a box/in a giant ice cube for z amount of days I wouldn't be called an Artist I would probably be sent for a psychological evaluation!

Some of the stuff they pass off as art is well silly.

Apparently painting trees blue is art now, and city is paying 7,500 of 15,000 total to have an artist do it.

Had I known that, I'd have been painting tree's blue a long time ago.

Would have been more exciting to have him live with a bear for 2 weeks, but may have not gone well for the artist.

Well, he would then really have been inside a bear I would not have blamed the bear at all either, having some annoying human hanging around.

Absolutely. "The Gitwizard" is the perfect sobriquet for Blaine. I do enjoy a good Brigstocke rant.

I thought it was going to be a film about the slow GI tract of a bear. Did you know that in the fall before they hibernate they eat loads of pine needles to make a naturally occurring butt plug so they don't poop all winter.? Then in the spring they eat nd have too poop out said long, pine needley, winterised butt plug. No wonder they are grumpy in the spring.

I didn't know that two minutes ago, and somehow wish I still didn't know that now! Thank you for enlivening my lunchtime
