Where to stay?
 

Hi guys only joined last week and said i was looking to move away from the UK. Been eyeing up Malta, been looking around to see what would be best for me but im not that sure to be honest so a couple of ideas from u guys would help for sure. Me and a friend are looking for somewhere that has stuff to do as we are both 21 but we arent really bothered about nightclubs, just a few bars or something, and also not somewhere really quiet. Obviously being by the beach would be awesome too. If anyone can point me in the right direction id definitely appreciate it, or any info at all coz were kinda struggling to be honest haha.

Hi Damien,

Many years ago when I was around 20 years, I took a short break to Malta and stayed near Mellieha Bay, where you can take the boat over to Gozo.

It was a really quiet resort but the buses run close by, so really enjoyed it.

It has probably been more developed since then, but maybe worth a look.

St Julian's is a nice place (I stayed there last week) and has easy access to every where on the island. Can recommend the Irish and Scottish bars :)
