Relocating to Malta

Hi everyone I’m Jordan 20 from the U.K. looking to relocate to Malta with a friend of similar age.

I was was just wondering if anybody could possibly help me with the best job sites to go on and estate agents as I go on some and they haven’t been updated in like 3 years, is this the same with all estate agents?

Also so I would love to know how much is minimum wage over in Malta or what is the monthly salary?

Finally would anybody be able to give me a rough price on a cheap 2 bedroom apartment to rent and location if possible.

thank you all in advance

Its extremely difficult to rent cheap apartments ( 600 pcm 2 bed) Buggiba/ St Pauls bay now as the island is overcrowded.- estate agents websites are not accurate and show stock they had years ago.
. if you phone them they may have a flat to show but its gone before they put it online... now you need to look at 1000 plus pcm. you have to pay the agent half the first months rent, the landlord pays the other half. Electricity and water expensive but no council tax.- Landlords are stingy and you may not get your deposit back. There are a couple of youth hostels which may be good to try on arrival. https://www.hostelworld.com/search?s...er_of_guests=2

have a look at this thread with more info

minimum wage is 172 pw. about 4 euros per hour. https://mywage.org/malta/salary/minimum-wage/

However there is lots of cash employment of 2 or 3 euros per hour to eastern europeans in hospitality and tourism.
if you work in Gaming or IT you can get a better wage..

Summer is expensive for accommodation, winter is better for finding.

I agree with above comments. In summer accommodation is quite expensive. And food too. Almost everyone speaks English so there is almost no language barrier. However, customs and culture is different so it might be hard to integrate as a foreigner.
