"Competant authority" -returning with personal possessions
 

Hi
does anyone have a copy of or form of wording that has been accepted by Malta Customs for the required letter from a "foreign competant authority" ( eg doctor, lawyer, notary) confirming the returning person has been living in UK and outside of Malta for more than 12 months? This letter is required if you are attempting to claim the exemption from VAT and customs duty. Have tried asking Customs office themselves but with no luck as yet. Thanks
