Citizenship ? Born in Malta 1966 to British Parents
I was born in Malta in 1966 while my British father was serving in the RAF ( with no diplomatic immunity) I have no Maltese ancestry. I have a British passport, but have lived and worked around the world. I have read and reread the various online documents about Maltese Citizenship & I am still unclear about whether I am eligible for Maltese citizenship. Can anyone advise ?

I only know what I read and from reliable sources - which I believe this is.
"If you are a child who was born before 21st September 1964 and who was born in Malta automatically becomes a citizen of Malta."
Maltese Citizenship by Birth, Descent or Marriage

This, and also according to wikipedia anyone born from 21/09/1964-31/07/2001 acquired Maltese nationality automatically at birth. So you should be a Maltese citizen. Do you have a Maltese birth certificate?

Also from your link Tweedpipe (near the top) Malta’s Independence Constitution was established on the 21st September 1964 and this established that a citizen of Malta is created automatically by birth in the same islands.
(It then goes on to list the amendments in 2000 I talked about above)
