Cheap places to stay in Malta

Hello everyone,
I am thinking about going over to Malta over christmas and new year for 2-3 weeks.

My questions
1) what would be the cheapest accomodation for one month.
(not including camping or hostels...I am a single man so I don't need luxury at all)
