Good morning.
Just looking for some advice if you can help.
Potentially looking into working in Kuala Lumpur..... any suggestions on Salary Expectations taking into consideration everthing from rent, bills, shopping etc and occasional return flights to The Uk.

Ex-Pat contract or local? Ex-Pat usually will have some form of allowance for living, often fairly generous. Although when I was negotiating sometime back (fell through) that particular company was not that generous and it declined to zero over a 3 year period, 100% year 1, 50% year 2, 25% year 3 as I recall. Ex-Pat salaries will also be more generous by a fair margin if your skills are in short supply.

Local contract, not so good, expect salaries considerably lower than a similar role in Europe or the US for example with less vacation time, poorer medical and worse pension arrangements.
