The view from my balcony or front door
#1

I have shamelessly pinched this idea from the Australia forum (thanks Sherlock Holmes). Anyone else want to share their view? I'd love to see Nusajaya
Mine is from the balcony. The view from the front door is a lift lobby so not terribly interesting.

I've got some great views as well. No photos though.
Anti clockwise from my study round to the view from my front door about 270 degrees:
-Gunung Panti Recreational Forest at Kota Tinggi
-Bukit Timah Hill
-JB tower blocks
-Endau Rompin National Park, but only on a clear day
-Gunung Pulai
-Tanjung Pelapas
-Jurong Shipyard where the jack up rig collapsed 3 days ago
-Karimun Island Indonesia
-Batam
-Loads more other Indon islands which I can't name
-All the islands off the southern coast of Singapore
And the really strange thing is that the length of MRT track I can see from my study if extended 8000km or so passes pretty close to my house in the UK.
Oh and over CNY the whole coast around Nusa Jaya fromJB to Tanjung Perlepas is lit up with fire work displays.
None in Singapore though as it's illegal yur.

Morning updates:
1.Same view from the previous evening during the morning. You can just see Genting Hills in the background amongst the clouds.
2.Looking over Bukit Kiara towards Mont Kiara
3. National Hockey Stadium in the foreground, looking towards Petaling Jaya

Ha, not my idea... I nicked it
Great pics ajw.... nice city views. Lacmac, cannot load yours...image too big for my slow internet I guess. For those who want to play this game, good to reduce pic size and/or compact for web viewing.
C'mon Ex-Reg, surely you own a camera?

Love this idea!!!!
Here are 3 different colours of KL - and no filters used!!
#1 and #2 are in the evening looking North West towards Sri Hartamas/Mont Kiara;
#3 is at dawn looking East towards Sentral.
I have taken so many sunrise/sunset pics from this flat - every day the colours are different!

Ahh, so either Penaga or One Menerung then. Looks like the OUA bangsar building in your Sentral shot. I can see it from here as well :-)
