BB, I have a similar experience at Tesco Tj Tokong. Most of the times do the cars lock when they're on the escalator down. But a few times I had a car which did not lock. Luckily it did not ran away.... Obviously those signs are there for a reason.

It was a funny haha experience but actually it could've been fatal. I am told that there was an incident in China where someone was killed.

I was stocking up on water and had a lot of bottles in my trolley. Quite heavy and....downhill

Glad we weren't walking up the down escalator (as we always seem to do) when you had your mishap, BB.
