taking food from KL to Singapore
Hi all hoping someone can advise me please?
I am coming over a week today for my 2nd trip
I am bringing over some food that my husbands friends are missing from Scotland (black pudding and square sausage) and wonder if it will be a problem taking it to Singapore we are taking the Aeroline from KL to Singapore.
thanks everyone x

I think officially, and someone correct me if they disagree, not allowed. Though not to say that people do not.
I know of loads of folks who used to fly in haggis and the like in their suitcases into Singapore.
Err...wouldn't the black pudding go off on a long hot coach ride to Singapore?

bb is spot on.
I was over in JB yesterday and having seen your post I looked at the rooles.
They said something like, no seeds or plants or meat products unless from certain specific countries, but the countries not named.
Having had a problem taking a bottle of wine across at JB even though I declared it I wouldn't like to be caught 'smuggling'.
However I do know a friend who brought some heel cuttings of rosemary and some mint plants in through Changi. You can buy those plants quite cheaply here though.
It's not the fine, it's the whole kerfuffle you'll find yourself in if caught.
