Sultan Mahmud airport Terengganu
Hi, just found this forum and this is my 1st post. Greetings.
Has anyone flown to this airport before? I am booked up for Redang and I think this might be closer than Kota Bharu. Plus I can fly from Subang if I'm not mistaken. I'm in KL so better than KLIA2.
Cheers,
Craig.

Hi
we did this in March and it was fine, little small and you have to go in through a metal detector and then back out again when go to the gates.
also on the way in they pulled me over as they said i was coming from another country but it did feel a little 'profiled' however were polite and apologetic throughout.

That's a long way to drive, and not much to see. When going to Redang I've flown to KB and got the ferry. That's a slow process also with connections. You can fly Subang to KB also, I think Malindo or Firefly. However you get there the destination is worth it though.
