Default Streaming UK TV in Malaysia

Some time ago I saw a post regarding TV Mucho which has live and Catch up channels streamed from Canary Islands. Having searched fairly regularly for something acceptable I eventually tried TVMucho. I have had a very disappointing 12 months experience which I am prepared to share with anyone interested. Just wondering if anyone within Malaysia/Sarawak has tried any alternatives - would welcome information.

Which channels mainly interest you?
I have heard of people using a TV set top box from Unblock Tech. You can find these on the online shopping malls here in Malaysia. But I don't know whether this covers the channels which interest you.

Why not just pay for a reputable VPN and link happily away to BBC ITV CH4 CH5? Less that 50 quid a year.
Only BBC iPlayer will let you record but all the others will happily stream.
If the speed is not acceptable they should be able to link you by a simple change of your DNS settings.
Of course if you are wanting sport etc etc etc then you need what is often called a Kodi box but is really an Android box.

Many thanks for both responses. Mainly interested in British Films and English TV Series such as the latest one on ITV (Bletchley SanFransico) which I am currently downloading via torrent site. I already have TV android Box - Meecool BB2 Pro which I have been using to view TVMucho and tried FilmOn ( dont like). Just don't have enough knowledge about VPN's. so not sure how I would go about accessing UK TV with VPN. , sorry for ignorance !!

There is a company called MyPrivate Network ( there are others which are probably just as good, but i have used this one for 8 years now) which you can google. The folk who run it are incredibly helpful and there are step by step instructions on the website. You could sign up for just a month and give them a try, I have had them log on to my computer and fix stuff for me ( some anti virus programmes can change access and it can be a fiddle to get around it) . All part of their service. Filmon etc etc really does not work well. Much better to be able to sign in to bbc itv etc directly as if you were in the UK. I have heard on various pages here on BE about all sorts of free VPNs none of which seem to be totally reliable and themselves are full of malware..
You do need a halfway decent internet provider though. I can only get 8 Mbps due to my location but it is plenty to run streaming.

Just looked at website. I see option for multi or single country subscriptions. Presume Single country means you only connect with 1 location i.e. UK rather than ie UK and USA.

You may wish to look at apps such as Swift Streamz, Redbox and Mobdro. They aren't available on the Play Store so you'll have to search for the APKs, enable apps from unknown sources in your Android box settings, and manually install them. Many UK (and other countries') channels for free. Service can be hit and miss, but hey it's FREE. No VPN needed.

I use https://unlocator.com/ for me it is mainly iPlayer, they do a free two week trial and then several pricing option. I am now paying annually was monthly. I use get_iplayer and thereby can use my little server as a PVR for radio, BBC TV.

Downloaded the program, unfortunately don't appear to be able to hold a connection. Tried it on my Android TV device and on laptop Windows 10 but problems on both.
