Came through customs at Penang last week with my usual case load of computer equipment. Scanned both hand luggage (with four laptops) and hold luggage (disk drives, 4 * Raspberry PI's, numerous other rather expensive bits of kit.

Nobody said anything. Not stopped or even questioned.

Not sure if this was a timing thing as I came through at just after 5:00PM.

Me also. Came through penang yesterday. Didn't get stopped. The malay guy even helped get my suitcase onto the x-ray machine belt. Very nice of him.

Nice to see that chivalry isn't completely dead in this day and age.

I think it was because I was creating a holdup. My tossing the caber technique had worked pretty well with my 25 kilo bag up until that point.

But yes good of him.
