Spouse Visa
 

Hi Everyone
Well after a lot of painful discussions with my wife, we have come to the agreement that I should convert to Islam, this has come down to money more than anything. So I would like to know has anyone converted ? what is the process ? Would we need to marry again as we are already married but my wife says we would need to have a Muslim marriage.
Also has anyone applied for a spouse visa ? and if so when should i apply ?

If you've not already done so go to the Malaysian embassy in the country in which you got married and get certified Malaysian copies of the marriage certificate, as I recall you're supposed to register a foreign marriage within 2 years I think. Having the documentation will make the whole LTSVP process much easier.
