Where is the best place on Penang island to watch the sun slip gently into the sea? Preferably with a beer in hand.

Somewhere West. Balik Pulau maybe? Get a beer? One of my farcebook friends who lives over that way recommends the Pedal Cafe. Whether you would see the sunset there, I really don't know.

Even better but very hard to find is the BP Anjung Indah Thai Seafood Restaurant on the P14 between Balik Pulau and the 220 road, its right on the top of the hill up a private driveway from the car park. Has a lovely collection of red vintage cars in the restaurant too.

A view from BP Anjung Indah at 7.24pm tonight. There is a sunset, but maybe not the best in Penang.

Food is great and view is awesome. Get there for 7pm and try the cashew chicken and pineapple rice.
