Pets allowed in rented apartments?
Is it a problem to keep a dog or parrot in a rented apartment? I'm sure all owners are different just wondering if most owners mind? Are pet deposits normal if so how much? We would like to get a pet there instead of bring one. Thanks in advance for any information.

Re: Pets allowed in rented apartments?
Malaysia is not very dog friendly and there are strict rules in most if not all condos regarding nuisance.
There are some people keeping small dogs, but there will be complaints from the neighbours if they bark.
Also not so nice life for a dog with all the restrictions and the tiled (and for them slippery) floors.

Miramar,
Check with the management at each condo you are interested. A lot of them turn a blind eye to this. I have heard Fettes residence is dog-friendly.
I also know Gurney Beach Condo has allowed dogs in past..
As for the tiles, dogs love tiles in the humidity as they are much cooler.
