all

im been looking at both these places , they both seem to have +s and -s

can people add more about the penang life, iv not been there yet,

khon kaen city in north eastern thailand is o,k , very cool dry heat , a few hot months but nothing like the heat you get in penang ,

as some talk about penang that its hot in the day time so very hard to do out side stuff , is this true, and it cools around 4pm in the evenings,

and i think penangs much safer then thailand , whats the crime like??

I have never been to Khon Kaen so cannot help you there.

Penang has a hot tropical climate. What do you mean by " out side stuff "? I go for walks sometimes. It's OK in small doses. I wouldn't want to be walking about all day though. All the malls have aircon. Vehicles have aircon. I know that some who like serious walking get up at the crack of sparrow to go walking.

Crime? I am sure there is crime but so far have not seen any in the area I live. I imagine, like anywhere, there are places where crime is more likely.

Can you be a bit more specific re Penang life? What do you want to know?

If you want an "overview" I did an article for BE last year. It might give you a bit of flavour for the place, but nothing beats going and taking a look for yourself. We are all different. You may love it. You may hate it.

It doesn't really get that cool in Penang. I suppose it might go down to 27 or 28 C into the evening.

Outdoor life full time. Dunno..... stay in Perth??
