Okay guys, given the poor attendance at last weeks Coffee Meet - we're looking for a new venue (preferably somewhere around Tanjong Bungah) and questioning whether the time is right (2pm).

Can I suggest that any newbies (or anybody for that matter), check on here first if they are thinking of going to a coffee meetup. If 3 or 4 folks can confirm on here that they are going, then there is a Meetup hehe.

The Penang Support Group (PSG) has pretty much fizzled out I think. Everyone going in different directions or tied up with "life matters" (it happens) but no reason why anyone should post on here if they want a Coffee Meetup or Makan, and just see if anyone replies.

I've been trying for a few months to chat around to ensure at least 6 pax (people I know) would be here at one time before I posted a Viva night, but it seems impossible, but I'll keep trying though.

There seems to be a few who would like it to happen so..... why don't you suggest a day, a time, a place, put it on this topic, and see if it happens? Which area will you be staying in? That would be a good start.

I might** be available if it's a morning coffee, if it's close to home (Straits Quay or Gurney or Tg Bungah would be good for me).

**I currently have some serious "home-life problems" so I cannot commit 100 percent unfortunately.

If anyone is intrested in a meet up then it would be good if they can relply in this thread then we can see if its worth doing or not.

The wife and I have agreed the sale of our smallholding and all being well will be in Penang from early October. We will be happy to support any coffee mornings or makan evenings.
