we are trying to get a feel for Penang now. Not been since the Tsunami but are looking at moving here from Australia Gold coast. Coming for a week in March any tips for where to start looking for a home and what to do wife is a classical musician and very interested in Music theatre.

Apart from the obvious events that take place in the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) there would appear to be a concert of baroque music at somewhere called Pisa. Concert of baroque music in Penang - May 20, 2018 5:30 PM | Eventful but looking on google maps this seems to be at the end of some un-named road in the middle of nowhere. Perhaps someone can enlighten me?

Oh dear, I was quite hopeful of a bit of culture but not if I have to wait two years for it. Never mind back to the Petri dish and agar agar in this heat the culture will arrive much sooner.
