Penang in Jan, but Thailand trip advice
Hello all,
So at last its time to book my trip to Penang, ill be there for 5 weeks and so am thinking of a week in Bangkok or Phuket. Im just after a steer really on which maybe better to have a look at.
I Know, how long is a piece of string, but its a start :-)

Depends what your looking for but BKK wins hands down!

January is High Season in Phuket....best weather of the year...and prices to match. Usually packed out. So I would plump for BKK too.
Having said that, not sure if there's direct flights Penang to BKK. What about Koh Samui? Direct flights there....short journey.
Or...what about Langkawi? Direct flights only take about 40 mins or, if you are brave
, take the boat from Penang.
