Don't forget to make a note in your diaries for the 9th/10th February. There were 15 balloons last year so it should be an impressive sight again at the polo field.

I went to this last year, it was a really up lifting experience.

Parking was not easy. Had to park a few roads away and walk in. I'd take the bike this year.

Did anyone go to this? I understand it was affected by the windy conditions.

There are free shuttle buses to the event. One runs from Tesco in Tanjung Tokong. The first morning was impacted by wind with all the balloons down just after 9am. Not too much happening after that until the evening which was pretty spectacular with all the balloons up at once & lit up. Not very crowded so very relaxing & great for kids. The buses ran upto the end after the fireworks about 10pm.

I should have also added that it is too hot to inflate the balloons during the middle of the day so they only operate early morning, late afternoon after 5pm & evenings subject to wind & rain.

I was set to go today but something came up and I didn't make it.

I went last year and to be honest the atmosphere of the event was over inflated, so will check it out next year.
