I’ve been meaning to try for ages, but haven’t been yet. As it only serves steak, one would hope they might get it right!

Here’s the most recent reviews from TripAdvisor:
  • This was a total surprise, reasonably priced good quality steak generally does not exist in this part of the world but this was fantastic. Thanks to the owners and staff.
  • If you want steak and chips this is the pace to go. That's all they serve. Two sizes of steak and their own sauce, chips and a side salad. No choices on the cut. But cooked to perfection. For a discerning customer like myself this is up there with any of the best steaks I've ever had. This place does...
  • “Best steaks in Penang!”
  • Second time in Penang. We really like this restaurant, they have small menu only two main dishes, but there are delicious steaks!

I am also hoping that when the Hilton Doubletree Hotel at Miami Bay opens this year it will have a decent restaurant or two with steak on the menu. With a Hilton Premium Club card HPC members can get 50% off the food bill when two people dine. Anyone know the planned opening date?

I can confirm from my own experience you can get there good steaks. You can chose only the size and how you want it done. They have been served as ordered and come with a fantastic herb butter - going a bit to the taste of snail herb butter - also nice fries and salad. Can't remember the price any more but must have been okay - otherwise I would.

My opinion related to the service sector: I have very bad experiences with the people at Astro. They messed up my iptv application, which resulted in a long delay in getting iptv installed. Their customer service "hotline" is pretty cold as you can't get anyone on the phone. The staff at the Penang local office (Gurney Plaza shopping mall) where I applied, wouldn't do anything but either call or send emails to their headquarters in KL. And so on. Finally, after me persevering in calling with Astro in KL and getting very angry on the phone, did I get the tv and internet service installed. Of course, not a single word of apology, all they did was to try to put the blame on me for getting the application messed up.
Now it turns out that they also messed up my application for the phone service which comes with the iptv package. And again: they don't take steps to correct the situation but make me apply myself for it at Time (who apparently installs this on behalf of Astro). So the saga continues.
