Ta very much

The Company name is Eyntech Systems (IT installers) they allegedly have 3 branches, namely, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Pakistan. So if anyone reads my thread please be vigilant!

Spouse, if you ever feel the need to PM me, please do. Be lovely to get to know you and exchange various travelling experiences

I've just had a look at the website, you're right, it looks very professional. Might be worth having a look at this page to see if there's a contact/department that would investigate if a company is offering fake jobs, or if someone's using the company name to scam people

https://www.mcmc.gov.my/en/make-a-co...ke-a-complaint

Given that the company's website provides a physical address in KL (next to the British Council Malaysia and a cemetery, no less!), it shouldn't be difficult for them to check.

Cheers re the PMs, I'm a notoriously bad correspondent but I usually get around to it eventually

Scam shop - can tell by the fact it is in a tiny unit in a cheap arse part of town.

Report them here: https://www.ssm.com.my/Pages/Home.aspx but you will need to do your own google translate

Thank you Incognito2411 for posting this. I think I've also been scammed by the same. A too-good-to-be-true offer as a Marketing Manager in Kuala Lumpur, after the shortest interview on Skype, with no competency or other questions about my ability asked, no references requested and just talking about the great package on offer. They offered me the job that evening, and want copies of mine and my husband's passports, photos and my degree copy sent asap to start the visa process. I found someone else on LinkedIn who'd had the same experience. I've sent nothing to them, preferring to defer an answer and just research further, which led to this page. What utter toe-rags!
I'll certainly be reporting this.
Thanks again for sharing. And good luck for future (genuine) roles!
