Hi, I was watching this MM2H video by a family from China. Someone left a message saying that MM2H is now suspended by the Malaysian government. How true is that? Any news from you guys? Thanks.

I called them and was told MM2H it is not suspended.
They said the report refers to an internal message regarding a change of management.

Like everywhere else nowadays.
SPAD also has been disabled, now it is APAD.

Saw quite a lengthy discussion in the mm2h penang Facebook group about this. The consensus of opinion was that there was a changeover of departments looking After mm2h. Moved from Tourism to Home Affairs.

An agent advised me that MM2H approval has moved from the Ministry of Tourism to the Ministry of Home Affairs (as stated by BB). And that new applications are temporarily suspended (which conflicts with the advice from MM2H officials in a phone call).
