You mean Jalan Lembah Permai where there is an Indian temple made of bits of an old merry-go-round? But what happens at the jungle end where my screeching insects live? Maybe they noise was them building a tunnel!

There's a few more maps and graphics of the Penang Transport Master Plan with more detail contained in this Ambank report from December 2014:

I had initially thought this was to be at t'other end of Gurney, but looks like (from the graphic) that it's halfway along.
Anyone want to stab a guess at exactly where?

Penang Third Link (Undersea Tunnel) | Penang Property Talk
If you zoom in on the satellite photo on that web page and look where the yellow circle is drawn it appears to be at the beginning of P. Gurney: as an extension of Jl. Pankor. Jl. Pangkor now splits into Jl. Kelawai and Jl. Sultan Ahmad Shah (also known as Northam Road). I was looking at some pictures of the Gurney Wharf project and there you see similar things drawn: an entry/exit to the tunnel is visible on the artists' impression.

Yep, my mistake SushiFan, it's still at the end of Gurney, by 1 Gurney I think.

That's a lot of info in that report, JC3.

11 Northam Rd is a very fine example of late 19 century early 20 Century British/Malay architecture and how it wears so well in the modern Penang climate.

There's a nice little pic of the monorail route from Komtar to Tg Tokong on this link below.

Hey, where's that Depot going in? Tesco? Or further along?
