Langkawi at this time of year (May/Jun/July)
What do ya think? I know it's south-west monsoon time more or less. Penang is getting some hefty showers and storms but it's not all the time. I imagine similar in Langkawi? Anyone? I'm not bothered about sunbathing... too old for that. Thinking about stocking up on the duty frees

Just spent a long weekend there. The first two days were cloudy and grey in the morning with showers and then fine and hot in the afternoon. My final day was fine and sunny in the morning and afternoon (and then I had to leave of course!)
The vodka was cheaper in the shops there (1 litre for 45rm) than DF at KLIA airport! (60rm)
