Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me asking a few questions on here. We've just arrived in KL on a 4 year contract with a 3 year old daughter having previously been expats in the USA and The Netherlands. We'll be living in Sri Hartamas once we're in our house in September.
- Where are some places to look for a decent car? Not brand new but max 5 years old and a trustworthy dealer.
- Electronic goods like TV's, where's the best places to look for a good deal?
- Mobile/cell phone providers. I already have a new phone but which is the best operator to go with in your experiences? I only need SIM only, possibly PAYG or prepaid or would it be better to get a second line on my husbands "company paid" contract??
- Are there any expat families living in the Sri Hartamas area on here? We're looking to make friends with other families in the area!
TIA!

Hi and welcome to Malaysia,
For TVs and electrical appliances check prices and offers at the following stores:
Best Denki
Harvey Norman
Senheng
These may not be the very cheapest stores, but are big enough to provide reliable service especially if something goes wrong after purchase. With Senheng it's worth joining their 'club' for a small fee before buying, for additional discount and warranty etc.
For small electrical appliances online try www.superbuy.com.my

Hi, what would be a good rate for a second hand proton car?
