Job HELP
How easy is it to find/get a job once out in Malaysia? Worried about visa's etc...
I've secured a job but my partner is struggling to find anything, does anyone know how easy (or hard) it is to get something once in the country? W are not worried about money, more boredom ( and I think he'd like independence as well!
He is a qualified teacher but has a GTP which is not recognised - would he still need to complete a TEFL to teach English?

I have the same problem ! I am moving in Malaysia, KL (Sri KDU) and my partner is working in IT. I will settle first and then he will visit me and try to get a job there. We have tried through recruitment companies but they are pretty useless. If you are married, you can apply for a dependent visa because you will have a work permit. If you are not married (my case) he needs to find a job and his employer will apply for a work permit. I know you need a TEFL qualification to work for the British council. The course last 1 month ! Maybe the British Council will recognise his GTP!
