Hi everyone

I'm looking for a good private Gynaecologist in KL who is sympathetic to westerners.

Any good recommendations please?

Dear Jj, maybe you can start by googling "List of Female and Male Gynecologists in Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia 2017".

If by sympathetic you mean wallet-friendly, then Tung Shin Hospital is "wallet-friendly" for those who seek private, i.e. non-government hospital treatments. It is probably the only private hospital in KL that is partly sponsored by contributions from the public (philantrophists). I was there (on other kind of treatment) and had seen some caucasians there too, though quite rare. There are two sections, one Western treatment and the other TCM, the difference in fee is substantial between the two, but still the cost of Western treatment is reasonable enough for average Malaysian. I've not been in KL for easily ten years, so please ask around for verification.

Dear JJ,
Just to add, the queue on certain "clinics" can be very long. Waiting for 4 to 5 hours is common.
Many are from outstations (out of KL).
