Hi guys,
I have been offered a job in Kuala Lumpur, I was hoping for some information about accommodation, health, entertainment and anything I should particular aware about.
I am currently in Beijing, I imagine the life styles is different between the two cities for expats. But I am looking for something new.
Cheers.

Hi,
I could share abit about the lifestyle in Kuala Lumpur. In Kuala Lumpur, English is widely spoken and so if you need direction or help, you can just ask the people around you.
For accomodation, normally expat will stay in KLCC, Bangsar or Mont Kiara area. The reason being that these areas are convenient as there are restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shopping complexes nearby within walking distance. However it depends on where you work. If you work in city center, it is better to stay in KLCC. however, if you prefer a quiet area and yet not too far from city center, Mont Kiara or Bangsar is the choice. Anyhow, Public transporation is quite convenient for you to go around town.
As for health, there are clinics in every neighborhoods. There are public and private hospitals around also. The city is considered clean and there shouldn't cause any threat to your health.
As for entertainment, if you stay in the areas I mention above, you are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Or you could just get a taxi and tell the driver your destination, it is safe and convenient.
Anyway, hope this help. So lastly, if you need help on getting accomodation, I could always assist you on that.
