I'm going to be moving to KL in August and I'm starting to think about what I should take with me. I do a fair amount of cycling in the UK, nothing too hardcore but I enjoy getting out on the bike. As such, I have a pretty decent bike and I'm wondering if it's worth me bringing it with me. What are the cycling opportunities like? Could it be a good way to get out of the city (or even around bits of town) or is the pollution and traffic just too much?

Not sure if this is any help but used to know someone in KL who was a serious biker, so suspect that yes might be opportunities. Unfortunately I'm no longer in touch with the guy though, so cannot add any more to that. Hopefully some others may be able to assist.
